Our first feature film, “Le Meilleur du Monde” has been making its way around Europe on the film festival circuit!

We premiered a work-in-progress version of the film at Cinema MacMahon (Paris 8e), where Jean Luc Godard filmed “à bout de souffle” in June 2025 at Festival Toi Femmes. The screening was well-attended and followed by a Q&A with the Paris-based cast and crew.

In early September, we screened another work-in-progress version of the film at “A Slavic Tale Film and T.V. Festival”, and got to see Sudinhol and Sofia, Bulgaria and exchange with Slavic musicians and filmmakers! At the incredible awards ceremony, which featured opera singers, traditional Bulgarian singers and dancers, and presentations from ambassadors to Bulgaria (Moroccan, Mongolian, and more), we were so incredibly honoured to win the First Place Special Jury Prize, the top prize for a foreign feature film!

A few weeks later, we had our world premiere at “Religion Today” Festival in beautiful Trento, Italy, at Cinema Modena, following the European premiere of Tom Bancroft and John Schafer’s similarly named “The Light of The World”. This festival featured incredible films that uplifted marginalised communities and encouraged viewers to strive towards a more inclusive world. Our President and Vice President were in attendance and were blown away by the talent and kindness of the other directors invited to the festival, and above all, by their films!
