Synopsis

The Best in the World is an independent drama/comedy shot in France and Senegal. Told in French, English, Fula, and Wolof, the film follows Mouctar, a young Guinean migrant navigating life in Paris. When he joins a non-profit theater workshop, the trauma of his past surfaces—forcing him to face the truth behind his flight from home. This intimate debut feature explores migration, memory, and healing across continents and cultures.

The Tailors

The Tailors follows the story of two fatherless West African migrants, B & S, who live together for four years in Morocco while struggling to support their entire families. After their clothing business is shut down by local authorities, they decide to make the perilous journey to Europe. Before leaving, B makes a choice that draws a rift between the two young men, and they are separated in France. Will the brotherhood they developed in Morocco survive the journey?
