Photography Exhibits

This exhibit includes photos of Moroccan and West African Children posing and playing together. Their smiles both hide a sadder reality of ostracisation and the suffering of their parents, which is shown through photos of West African migrants (adults) living in Tamesna, Morocco, working/living in difficult conditions. There are also photos of Moroccans in the same neighbourhood posing at their fruit stands. Finally, there are photos of migrants celebrating the muslim holiday Eid. This exhibit highlights the struggle and the beauty in each group’s lives, the separation of the two groups of people within one geographic area, and the possibility of children as the solution for harmony.
